Glasgow Live '27 guide: plan the Celtic Park opening week

Oasis open Live '27 at Glasgow Celtic Park with five shows from 21 to 29 May 2027, and Richard Ashcroft opens every night. This guide covers the dates, travel, age rules and resale route for the opening week.
Oasis open Live '27 at Glasgow Celtic Park on Friday 21 May 2027. Five shows follow across nine days, and Richard Ashcroft opens every one.
Glasgow is the first city on the tour, so it carries the opening-night attention. It is also the only opening-week stop, which makes its planning different from a mid-tour date.
Celtic Park sits in Parkhead, about two miles east of Glasgow city centre. Most visitors stay in the centre and travel east, rather than staying near the stadium.
The dates, in order
- Friday 21 May 2027, tour opening night
- Sunday 23 May 2027
- Tuesday 25 May 2027
- Friday 28 May 2027
- Saturday 29 May 2027, final Glasgow night
The run uses a Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday pattern. Weekend nights will be busiest for beds, while Tuesday 25 May is the quieter midweek option.
Manchester follows in June, so Glasgow fans get the first performances of the tour. The full tour dates show how the run builds from here.
What is confirmed, and what is not
Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher are the only members confirmed by name for Live '27. Ashcroft is confirmed as special guest at all 42 shows, including all five Glasgow nights.
Event listings give a 17:00 start time for the Glasgow shows. Full running times are confirmed closer to each show date, so no stage time should be planned yet.
No 2027 setlist has been published, and no song list should be sold as one. The Live '25 set is a record of last year, not a forecast for May.
No further Glasgow dates have been announced, and the tour says no further dates will be added. Do not buy a sixth Glasgow night from any seller.
Getting to Parkhead
Dalmarnock and Bridgeton stations both serve Celtic Park, on the Argyle Line from Glasgow Central. Bus routes also run east from the city centre to Parkhead.
ScotRail and First Bus publish event-day timetables close to large fixtures, not months ahead. Check the operator in show week, rather than trusting a normal-day timetable.
Big Green Coach is the official travel partner for this show, with 31 pickup points across Scotland. Coach travel is the simplest return option for fans outside Glasgow.
Glasgow Airport sits west of the city, with an express bus to Buchanan Bus Station. Edinburgh Airport is a realistic alternative about an hour away.
Tickets and resale
All 42 shows sold out in the September 2026 code sale, and there was no general onsale. Registration closed on 17 September 2026, and a code did not guarantee a ticket.
Official face-value resale runs through Ticketmaster, or Twickets for UK tickets, at the original price paid. The authorised seller says those routes open no later than 31 December 2026.
Up to four tickets in total apply across all shows in one allocated city, including resale tickets. Keep that cap in mind if you plan to buy for more than one Glasgow night.
Tickets listed anywhere else are liable to be cancelled, and social media offers should be treated as fake. The fake-ticket warning explains the checks that matter most.
Standard UK prices were fixed at £71.50 to £266.60 including fees. Celtic Park standard prices sit inside that range, and published prices run higher only for VIP packages.
Entry and age rules
Standing has no under-14s on the pitch, and 14 and 15 year olds must always be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. At least one adult per four young fans applies.
Seated tickets have no under-5s, and fans aged 5 to 15 must always be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. At least one adult per four young fans applies here too.
Bag rules, banned items and search procedures are set by the venue and published shortly before each event. Check them close to the show, because an old rule can cost entry.
Accessible tickets are booked through Ticketmaster, and companion tickets must be added at booking time. Walking aids are not permitted in the standing area.
Choosing your night
Friday 21 May is the tour opening night, so it carries the most attention and the most pressure on travel. Saturday 29 May closes the Glasgow run, and it suits a weekend trip.
Sunday 23 May and Friday 28 May suit fans who want a weekend feel without the opening or closing night crowds. Tuesday 25 May is the calmest choice for beds and travel.
If you attend more than one night, treat each night as a separate show for entry and travel. A ticket for one date does not cover another, even at the same venue.
If you travel from outside Scotland, price Edinburgh Airport too, as well as Glasgow Airport. It sits about an hour away, and it can beat Glasgow Airport on price or timing.
Opening night, and what it means for planning
An opening night draws press, broadcast crews and fans who want to say they were there first. That attention does not change the show, but it does change the crowds around Parkhead.
Arrive earlier than you would for a mid-tour date, and keep your return plan simple. Opening-night transport is busier, and a simple plan beats a clever one.
If you cannot get opening night, Sunday 23 May still gives you an early-tour show without the opening-night crush. The band will have played only once before by then.
Glasgow music stops for a longer trip
King Tut's Wah Wah Hut on Sauchiehall Street is the Glasgow venue linked to the band's early story. It is a short, central stop for fans with a free afternoon.
Barrowland Ballroom on Gallowgate is the city's best-known mid-size music hall, and the Barras market sits a short walk away. Glasgow Green and the People's Palace sit between the centre and Parkhead.
Merchant City and Buchanan Street give the central base for beds, food and shopping. Most visitors stay here and travel east, rather than staying near the stadium.
Do not build a whole trip around a claimed early Oasis gig date unless a source states it. The planning value here is the music city itself, not a disputed date.
Planning checklist
- Match your ticket name, city and date before you book travel
- Stay in the city centre and travel east to Parkhead
- Check ScotRail and First Bus event-day times in show week
- Check the venue bag and entry rules shortly before the show
- Keep your Ticketmaster account email matched to your registration email
- Plan your return from Parkhead before you leave for the show

Oasis play five nights at Celtic Park: 21, 23, 25, 28 and 29 May 2027. No further Glasgow dates are announced.
Who opens the Glasgow shows?
Richard Ashcroft opens every Glasgow show as special guest. No other support act is confirmed.

Event listings give 17:00 for the Glasgow shows, with full running times confirmed closer to each date. Do not rely on a stage time until the tour publishes one.
Where should I stay for a Glasgow show?
Stay in the city centre around Merchant City, Buchanan Street or the West End, and travel east to Parkhead on show day. That base gives rail, bus and food options that a stadium-side stay does not.
Book early for the two weekend nights, because five nights across nine days bring visitors twice over each week. Tuesday 25 May gives the easiest beds of the five.
